It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Ruess (1933–2025), age 92, who passed away in a hospital in Los Angeles County on October 30, 2025. The coroner’s office formally identified him, noting the manner of death as accidental, with the cause being sequelae of blunt-force head trauma. Other significant conditions included complete heart block and dysphagia. His passing marks the end of a long and meaningful life, leaving family, friends, and community members in mourning.
Alfred’s journey through 92 years was one of resilience, wisdom, and love. He lived through changing times, adapting with strength and perseverance, and leaving behind a legacy that will endure in the hearts of those who knew him. His presence was a source of comfort and stability, and his memory will continue to inspire those who carry his story forward.
