In loving memory of Leo Delissen
Honoring a past Director, Life Member, and pillar of the Campbelltown Catholic Club
With a heavy heart, I share this message. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of past Director and Campbelltown Catholic Club Life Member, Leo Delissen. Leo’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the Campbelltown Catholic Club community he served with dedication and grace.
Leo was a steadfast leader whose wisdom, humility, and quiet strength shaped the Club’s culture and future. As a past Director and Life Member, he gave generously of his time and talents, guiding with integrity and always placing community at the center of every decision. His legacy is woven into the Club’s history—seen in the relationships he nurtured, the standards he set, and the spirit of service he embodied. Beyond his contributions, Leo will be remembered for his kindness, his faithful character, and his deep care for people. He modeled the values of compassion, respect, and hospitality, making everyone feel welcome and valued. Those who had the privilege of working alongside him carry forward his example with gratitude and pride.
On behalf of Campbelltown Catholic Club, we extend our deepest condolences to Leo’s wife, Veronika, and to their family and friends. May you find strength in treasured memories and comfort in the love of those who surround you. The community holds you close in thought and prayer during this difficult time, honoring the life of a man who gave so much and asked for little in return.
The funeral service will be held at St Johns Church, Campbelltown, on Friday, 5 December at 11 a.m. Family, friends, colleagues, and Club members are invited to gather in prayer and remembrance, celebrating Leo’s life and the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
Rest in peace, Leo Delissen. Your service was a gift, your memory a blessing, and your legacy everlasting.
