Obituary Tribute: Liliana Sullca Mico and Children — A Family Remembered in Tristán Suárez
It is with profound sorrow that we acknowledge the tragic deaths of Liliana Sullca Mico, age 38, and her children Gonzalo Flores, 15, Zeynep Alba Flores Sullca, 6, and Maite Aitana Flores Sullca, 3, who perished in a devastating house fire on the morning of November 24, 2025, in Tristán Suárez. Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday. Their passing has left the community heartbroken, as neighbors, friends, and loved ones mourn the loss of a mother and three young lives taken far too soon.
Liliana was remembered as a devoted mother whose love and strength guided her family. Her children, each with their own unique personalities, brought joy and laughter into the home. Gonzalo, at 15, was entering adulthood with promise and determination. Zeynep, just 6, was full of curiosity and light, while little Maite, only 3, embodied innocence and hope. Together, they formed a family whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew them.
Surviving are Liliana’s husband, Juan Carlos Flores, who remains in critical condition, and their son Daniel Flores, who is hospitalized at Ezeiza. The community rallies around them, offering prayers, support, and solidarity as they face unimaginable grief and recovery.
This tragedy has sparked a judicial investigation into the causes of the fire, but beyond the details lies the human story of lives lost and a family forever changed.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Flores family and to all who mourn Liliana and her children. May their memories be cherished, their love remembered, and their spirits honored.
Rest in peace, Liliana, Gonzalo, Zeynep, and Maite. Your lives were a blessing, and your memory will remain eternal in the hearts of those who loved you.
